who you are

To be able to work as a Logistics Team Leader in Bleiswijk, the following is important:

• You can speak and write in English on a professional level
• You are a people manager with 3 years experience leading a team in a similar work environment
• Full-time availability, with willingness to work in 3 shifts (6:15 AM - 2:45 PM, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, and once every 10 weeks 11:15 PM - 6:15 AM)

what will you do

In this role as a Logistics Team Leader, you will lead a process in the distribution center, whether it’s unloading/receiving, stowing/picking, or packing/expedition. Your international team consists of around 30 operators and 2 to 4 team coordinators. Your task is to inspire, motivate and guide your team to achieve goals. You make sure all your team members are happy, but also help them develop in their career. Your colleagues in the Control Room will help you to always stay up-to-date on metrics, ratios and planning. You will propose improvements on the process and also lead performance meetings with the team.
