who you are

You have an EU nationality and you can speak and understand English.
Also you are looking for a job with accommodation.
- You are physically fit (the lines with glasses never stops, so we expect certain tempo of work)
- You can deal with noisy environment (it can be loud on the production hall, but we provide you with ear protection)
- You are fine with working in small/ crowded spaces (there is sometimes a small amount of room around the lines and you will be standing close to your colleagues)
- You are not having trouble with standing through the whole day
- You are a team player and you have no problems with helping others with more heavy assignments as lifting boxes, moving pallets
- You are committed to stick to the house rules such as the safety shoes, glasses and ear protection an no earphone allowed at any moment at production hall.

what will you do

You will work in a factory where glasses are continuously produced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You are standing on one of the production lines, where you are responsible for different tasks such as the packing of the glasses, making sure that there are enough supplies as boxes, stickers etc, you are preparing the pallet for the transport and checking the quality of the glasses through the whole process.
You never work alone, but are always enjoyable together with 1 or 3 other colleagues at a standing table, so that you will always have enough to talk about during your work. A great company to work for!

where will you work

In Leerdam you become part of an international team. Your colleagues are always there for you and you are also well trained.

As a packer at LC Glass you will of course be well rewarded and you get:

- The first week of 4 days paid training in the day shift from 7:30 until 16:15 (*be aware that in those 4 days your hourly wage is 14,37, in your 1 week of work after training you receive the 29% extra)
- A nice hourly wage of € 14.37 from the age of 23!
- Increasing surcharges € 18.53 per hour
- Flexible work in a 5-shift planning (morning 5:45 till 13:45, afternoon 13:45 till 21:45, night 21:45 till 5:45)
*So it involves 3 times , 5 shifts means 2x morning 5:45 to 13:45, 2x afternoon 13:45 to 21:45 and 2x nights 21:45 to 5:45 in rotation of 6 days working and 4 days off. So every week you start on a different weekday, only after 5 weeks the schedule starts on a new day, say with Monday.
