As a logistic employee at DPD Maastricht you are having your own accommodation in The Netherlands. Next to that, you are able to lift heavy packages up to 23 kg. Besides that you:
Sorting packages! That’s the main task you’ll be doing as a logistic employee at DPD Maastricht. But, there’s more to it. Let me explain: the parcels will come to the warehouse via our trucks. First, we need to unload them. Afterwards, the containers need to be put in the right place. Afterwards, the parcels need to be put on the assembly line. At the end of the process, a new team will be ready to sort all the parcels on zip code. Is everything sorted out? Then all the parcels will be sent to the clients. Sounds easy, right? Please be careful: This is a heavy job! Some parcels can weigh up to 25 kg. But you can see it as a free workout!
You will be starting at DPD in Maastricht. DPD is one of the biggest parcel companies in the Netherlands. Did you know that DPD stands for Dynamic Parcel Distribution? The warehouse is located at the Beatrixhaven.This is 10 minutes outside the city center. It’s located near the Subway at Maastricht Noord-Station. Maybe, in the future, you’ll be getting your sandwiches over here with your fellow logistic employees! There is a great working atmosphere and everybody gets along.
