But what exactly am I going to do as an order picker at the Technische Unie? Good question, here I take you into account! You will work as an order picker in the DPS (Dynamic Picking System) department. Here you will have your own workstation where you will collect the orders for the day. At this workstation, there are all kinds of containers from which you will collect the materials. A customer places an order online and this comes up in on a computer in your queue. The computer directs you and tells you which bin to go to in order to collect the order one by one. Carefully you check the numbers and collect the right amount. You put these in a bag and close it with a sticker. You continue until all orders are processed.
