who you are

You are someone who likes to be busy as an order picker. On a working day, you make a lot of kilometers. You have a minimum height of 165 cm (because of the height of the containers you have to reach). You also have the following;

• You speak and understand the Dutch and/or English language.
• You are available at least 3 days a week.
• You can come to the work location with your own transportation (public transport is not possible due to the working hours).

what will you do

But what exactly am I going to do as an order picker at the Technische Unie? Good question, here I take you into account! You will work as an order picker in the 'DPS' (Dynamic Picking System) department. Here you will have your own workstation where you will collect the orders for the day. At this workstation, there are all kinds of containers from which you will collect the materials. A customer places an order online and this comes up in on a computer in your queue. The computer directs you and tells you which bin to go to in order to collect the order one by one. Carefully you check the numbers and collect the right amount. You put these in a bag and close it with a sticker. You continue until all orders are processed.

• working hours from 12:30 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 00:00.
• working days from Monday to Friday

where will you work

As an order picker, you will be working in the warehouse of the Technische Unie. Daily hundreds of international employees will join you. Together you make sure the logistics process will run at its best! The warehouse is good reachable with own transport. It's located at the Bedrijfsweg in Alphen aan den Rijn.
