who you are

As a warehouse worker, you will be busy sorting packages. It’s important that you can handle physical work. You have a bike, car, or scooter to get to work. You will also recognize yourself in the following:

• You can request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct);
• You speak Dutch or English;
• You’re available at least 3 days a week.

what will you do

Sorting packages is your main task as a warehouse worker. Once you arrive at PostNL, you clock in, put on your work shoes, and grab a quick drink. Time for the team meeting! The team leader tells you exactly what comes in in terms of packages, and which department you will be working in today. Since you are new to PostNL, you will start on the conveyor belt. Here, it’s essential to place each package on the belt. This can be physically demanding as each package varies in size and weight. You will also need to work at a steady pace, as there are a lot of packages to be sorted daily.

• Workdays from Sunday to Friday.
• Working hours between 5:15 PM and 2:45 AM.

It sounds simple, but there’s a lot more to it. Want to learn everything as a warehouse worker? Then this is your chance! Our team leaders are happy to explain how everything works. If you want to grow within the company, we offer internal training to become an (assistant) team leader.
Each year, something fun is organized, like a diner or delicious Dutch donuts ("oliebollen") during the holiday season. The work location is at Sophialaan 7 in Utrecht. The site is accessible by private transportation. You also have the option to rent a Swapfiets through us at a discounted rate!
