what will you do

As a production worker at Stegeman, you will make sure that all the meat is cut and packed. You are responsible for your part of the line. Put the sausage in the machine. They weigh around 10-20 kilos depending on the type of product we make. Set the machine to the right program. Check! The machine takes over the work from you here. Oops, the red light starts coming on and the machine stops running. Your hawk's eye has already spotted this. You fix the malfunction and the machine can get back to work. Packing is done on the other side of the line. The last checks are done here. In no time your working day is over. In S&P (Slicing and Packaging), you will work on the conveyor belt where the product is sliced and packaged. Here you check for quality and ensure that the machines are converted when needed for a different product. This means that you will be an machine operator within a couple of weeks. Depending on your (previous) skills and motivation you can grow to Operator A after 4-6 week.

where will you work

Stegeman is a traditional Dutch company and brand. With traditional Dutch products. And also products that are not originally Dutch, but which they would like to give a Dutch touch. Such as the Fuet and Chorizo. Because at Stegeman they give everything to do a little more attention. Stageman like to experiment with new ingredients, they bake, smoke and grill to make the products even tastier.
* We work 2 shifts Monday through Friday. The times are from 05:15-14:00h and 14:00-22:35h.
* The temperature of 13-14 degrees on most workplaces) (warm jackets are being offered)
* Sometimes people work on Sunday (always voluntary) for 190%
* Everyone is getting a training to become an machine operator. This also means that people can stay a long time in the company!

People who have EPT-license or Heftruck-license are always welcome. They will find a spot in within the company!
