At the start of your first day at work, you will have to take a technical skill test. This will be a practical exercise. If you pass the test, you will be trained to work independently on the line during the first week of work.
If you don't pass, you cannot start.
How does your first (unpaid) day look like:
- Technical test
- Introduction and company tour
- Go to BSN appointment at RNI office (if you don't have your BSN yet).
On the second day you start working.
When you arrive at Giant in the morning, you discuss the day with your colleagues. This while enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the canteen. When it is time, you walk to your department and the team leader will tell you what the targets are for the day. Then you and your team will assemble bicycle parts. Each production employee has his own place and task on the production line. For example, you ensure that the electric motor is installed and your neighbor ensures that the brake cables are pulled! All this happens at a fast pace, so it is important that you perform your task well so that the line can keep running! Together you ensure that the most beautiful and newest Giant bicycles can be delivered to the customer, how cool is that!
Giant is the world's leading brand of high-quality bicycles and cycling equipment. As a production employee you will work in a fun and close-knit team. Giant believes it is important that everyone can get the best out of themselves and offers many career opportunities. Consider multi-operator or troubleshooter. IMPORTANT!
You need to be available to work in all 3 Working shifts:
- Monday till Friday 06:00- 15:00 Saturday 07:30-11:45
- Monday till Friday 06:00- 16:10 Saturday 07:30- 11:45
- Monday till Friday 15:00- 23:00 Saturday 12:15- 16:30
It is possible to work on Saturday.
