who you are

Scania is a well-known reputable company that builds trucks.

Are you ready for a new challenge where you will be the driving force behind the continuous improvement process at Scania Logistics in the Netherlands?

As a forklift driver is important that you :

• Have a valid forklift license
• Have a valid driving license ( cat. B)
• At least 2 years experience on the forklift in a logistics warehouse
• You must speak , read and understand English
• You must be taller than 1.65 centimeters

what will you do

Before the start on Monday employees receive clothes, safety shoes and an entrance pass. They need to wear these clothes every day at work.
All the employees will be trained at the job. ed.
When you get on your forklift, you make sure that the truck parts are transported to the right workstations and colleagues. You make sure that:
- Parts are checked
- Trucks are loaded and unloaded
- Parts are transported to the right place

Working hours: they work in 2 shifts (06.00 - 14.00 and 14.00 - 22.30). One week the employee works in the morning and the other week in the afternoon. If they need to work on a Saturday, it will only be in the morning.
Pause: the employees have 50 minutes of breaktime per day. 1x 30 minutes and 2x 10 minutes. This is not at fixed times. Not everyone can have a break at the same time, so during the day everyone has a break at different times.
Scania in Hasselt has no cafeteria where the employees can buy things like sandwiches and a hot meal so they need to bring their own food.

The brand of our Forklift trucks are Toyota and Linde

Sometimes there are not enough orders or trucks, this means someone who accepts the vacancy as a heftruck driver, must also be willing to do different logistics tasks, so not always driving (repacking, collecting orders walking).

The logistics hub of Scania Logistics Netherlands in Hasselt is the center of the global supply flow of Scania. The truck parts arrive in Hasselt, where you transport them to the right place in the warehouse for distribution. Following that, the materials are shipped internationally or to our production plants in Zwolle and Meppel. Your work matters!
