Do you only need a part-time job but still want enough challenges? As a part-time driver at Albert Heijn, every day is different! One day, you drive on country roads; the next, you’re in the middle of the city. Plenty of variety for you! Curious about your earnings? Read on.

who you are

As a part-time driver, you’ll deliver groceries with a van. You can lift crates to fifteen kilos. And you have no problem getting in and out of the van regularly. You also need to:

• You have transport to reach Kanaaldijk 3 in Utrecht.
• You speak Dutch or English;
• You have a B driver’s license.

what will you do

As a part-time driver you start your workday at the Home Shop Center (HSC) in Utrecht. At the pick-up point, you’ll get your route for the day. You’ll receive the keys to your van, a mobile payment device, a navigation system, and a Zebra scanner. Time to find your van. You’ll check the fuel level, inspect the van for any damages, and ensure you have the right load. Check, check, double-check. Ready to drive to the first delivery address! Once there, you grab the right crates from the van and ring the bell. No elevator? No problem! You’re strong enough to carry the crates up the stairs. With a friendly greeting, you deliver the groceries and complete the payment. Then, back in the van to head to the next customer.

• Flexible hours from 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–23:00. You’re available for both shifts.
• You can work part-time or full-time from Monday to Sunday, with at least two Saturdays per month.

Delivering groceries is a solution for many people. That’s why, as a part-time driver, you’re so important! You will enjoy a great and fun team of colleagues. After thirteen weeks, you’ll get a pay raise. There are also a lot of growth opportunities. You can become a buddy or a mentor. During your shift, you’re well taken care of. You can grab free fruit during your ride or enjoy a nice lunch during your evening shift. The AH HSC in Utrecht is located at Kanaaldijk 3 and is easy to reach by car, bike, or, scooter.
