You are a delivery driver at Albert Heijn who enjoys being on the road delivering groceries. Physical work is no problem; you can easily hop in and out of your delivery van. You also bring the following:
Your day starts as a delivery driver at Albert Heijn at the HSC in Barendrecht. Here, you pick up your van keys and route. Time to head to your first destination! At the location, you scan the crates for that delivery. After that, you bring the groceries right to the customer’s doorstep. You’ll also check if the payment has been completed. Is everything okay? Then hop back into your van and drive to the next address! Finished delivering all the groceries? Then head back to the HSC to unload the van and return your equipment. That’s how you stay active and independent throughout your workday. Fantastic! Ready for more challenges or looking for more interaction with colleagues? You can grow into a buddy role to help train new drivers.
As a delivery driver at Albert Heijn, you make many customers happy with their groceries every day. Albert Heijn gives back in return! After thirteen weeks, you’ll receive a pay raise. You’ll also be trusted to drive your delivery van and get a nice uniform to complete your workday. Before your shift, you can enjoy a good cup of coffee at the HSC. Also, you can grab a free piece of fruit for the road. For evening shifts, a lunch package is ready for you to take along. You can reach the work location by private transport. You can park your bike, car, or scooter safely behind the gates of AH Online.
After 13 weeks of work, your salary increases to €18.25 per hour! This includes 25 vacation days, holiday pay, ADV allowance, and a year-end bonus. There are also plenty of opportunities for growth. Who knows, in a year, you might be training your new colleagues!
