In this role, you will be working at a large and well-known company in the area of Venray. You will be working at the transport department, where you will have several responsibilities. Every day is different, each hour brings up new challenges.
Preferably you'll work full-time, but part-time (32 hours) is also possible!

who you are

You are familiar with working in the transport sector/logistics. Preferably, you have experience in an international company. Furthermore, you are stress-resilient and you possess the following characteristics:

• You have a working level of MBO (minimum)
• You are familiar with the world of transport and shipments
• Logistics processes are no secret to you
• Excel? You have experience in working with it
• You are analytical and stress-resilient
• You speak the English language fluently

what will you do

In this role, you will be working as administrative employee at the transport department. Your tasks are very diverse and that makes every day a little different than the other. You will work in the dynamic and fast-paced world of transport and logistics. You need to be able to deal with hectic situations at times. Furthermore you will be doing the following tasks:

• You are following the shipments towards the customers. You will do this via mail, telephone or through carrier portals
• You make daily reports and will send these to the clients
• You will sign off shipments in the system
• You will contact transport companies to request proof of deliveries and you will process them
• You keep track of the client and transport performance
• A sudden request for transport? You will arrange all of it!

where will you work

The company is located in Venray (Oostrum) and easily accessible by car or public transport. The company owns several large warehouses, with over 750 colleagues. These colleagues are picking and packing, arranging the shipments and making sure the whole operation runs smoothly. The company can offer good opportunities to grow.
